At Citizens Deposit Bank, our customers always come first. Our team is dedicated to bringing friendly, local banking services to the members of our community. We like to say “It’s Where Your Friends Bank” because, well, that’s the truth. The relationships we forge each day are not just with our customers, but with our friends, our relatives and above all, people we care about.

That’s because we are proud to be your community bank. Every business loan we help secure, every new vehicle we help get the keys to and every account that we open for a new member have one thing in common: they all help our community grow!

And that is one thing all of us at CDB are passionate about: being there for our community!

Commendable Comets

Carlisle County Middle School hosted their annual Comet Cash Auction last week. “Comet Cash” is given to students for exemplary school work, attendance, attitude, responsibility, respectfulness, & Comet pride. Students can use their cash throughout the school year or can save their money to buy items at the end of the year auction.
CDB donated two bikes as prizes for these high achieving comets. We hope you all had another great auction! Pictured: CDB's Payton Brown & CCMS Principal Tosha Arnold.

Community PSA

Teresa Norment recently visited the Carlisle County Senior Citizens Center to lead a seminar regarding common scams that target seniors. Teresa informed the group about ways to protect themselves against scams and also gave them tips about how to identify fake or counterfeit money. We appreciate the center & all they do for our community.

Some Other Ways We Give Back

Customer Appreciation Days

Each year, we hold a Customer Appreciation Day at each branch to say “thank you” to our community by making you lunch. Volunteers from the bank, as well as our Teen Marketing Partners, man the grill and serve up hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks as we welcome every member of the community to come by, say hello and grab a bite on us.

Teen Marketing Partners

Our Teen Marketing Partners aren’t just our internet-savvy marketing assistants. They are each also the recipients of a $500 scholarship they can put toward their post-secondary education! They work alongside us during the school year to learn how to contribute growth and leadership toward the community and participate in a variety of community service events.

School Spirit Cards

Every CDB customer has the opportunity to receive a School Spirit Debit Card with their account. Cards can be issued for Ballard, Carlisle, and Hickman County school systems and come emblazoned with the logo and colors of your school of choice. Then, for every purchase you make, a percentage of that sale is collected and donated once each year to our local schools*.

In 2021, CDB donated $13,500 to our local schools and overall, we’ve donated more than $30,000 through this program!

*To qualify for donation, purchases must be made as “CREDIT” rather than “DEBIT” when prompted at the point of sale.

Local Business of the Quarter

Citizens Deposit Bank began the “Caring, Dependable Business of the Quarter” initiative as a way to highlight businesses in our local community that go above and beyond in deed & service. We take pride in shining a light on those who work day in and out to lift up our community. Join us in celebrating the 2023 CDB Businesses of the Quarter!
